How to maintain solenoid valves in winter?

To prevent Solenoid valves damaged by freeze and expand water inside. First, remove the pressure test port on the side of valves. Then, unscrew the nut on top and pull out the tube. This will allow the water inside the valve to drain, preventing it from freezing and causing damage.

Keep the removed parts safely stored, and reassemble them before the next irrigation season begins.
